GRIDIRON 2004 ł KUDOS, COMMENTS & CRITICISMS

As usual, great event!

-- Scott Forslund, Premera Blue Cross

I was there and really enjoyed the Cabaret production singers—.Well-organized and Mike Egan was great (as always!). Thanks!
-- Heather Flodstrom,  Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

The dinner was a great way to come together as Washingtonians to toast two path-breaking leaders of our community.  And to do so with humor in a bipartisan manner was a nice way to remind us we are all in this together.

-- John C. Drescher, Discovery Institute

I thought this was the best one yet, a lot of good energy and very entertaining. My guests enjoyed it tremendously but were of course too polite to comment on my singing.

-- Dr. Richard Baxter, WNC Public Member

That was one of the best dinners IĂve been to for a long, long time.

-- Jack McRae, Premera Blue Cross

Seemed to go great, judging by audience reaction. Well-deserved kudos to the melodious Beetles and the always wry Mike Egan!
-- Jim Anderson, Cabaret Productions, Inc.

Again, congratulations on a wonderful evening. So fun to be a part of it. CanĂt wait for

next year!

-- Lee Keller, The Keller Group, Ltd

Congratulations on a successful event.

-- Val Hwang, Starbucks

The Washington News CouncilĂs Gridiron dinners just keep getting better and better. We enjoyed our evening enormously ł and were pleased to introduce four other couples to the event.  Everyone thought the food was delicious, the service top notch, and the program superb.  From opening remarks to closing comments, the program was well executed with A+ talent. Congratulations!

-- Ruth M. Scott, Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association

I thought it went well. But itĂs too long. You didnĂt use the gong that much!

-- Assunta Ng, Northwest Asian Weekly

The dinner was great!  My guest and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously—the presenters were witty and I donĂt think IĂve laughed so much in a long time! Great job!!!!

-- GayleĂ Morrison, Executive Options

It looked as if the affair was a great success and people enjoyed themselves. It is certainly heartening to see the expansion of support for the WNC, and the number of prominent people who are associated with it.  You have done a remarkable job achieving credibility in the community.

-- Bernie Friedman, Department of Social and Health Services, Olympia

I thought the evening went very well - and the meal was wonderful!  No rear-percussions (very cute) on my remarks—.My daughter is going to order the video for family entertainment Thanksgiving Day.  It will be fun to watch while enjoying a glass of wine.

-- Mary Charles, The GovernorĂs Mansion, Olympia

I didnĂt catch the MCĂs name, but very handsome. Is he single?

-- Mike Egan, Emcee
